If you are a fan of all things vintage, then you are going to want to spend some of your Veteran’s Day weekend at the Vintage Fan Fair. The event brings together a variety of vendors offering products, services and activities representing the many different eras of the 20th century. Styles include mid-century, farmhouse and boho chic. Highlights of the two-day event include a ‘Glamper Showcase’ featuring 25-plus vintage trailers, a “Mayberry Modernism” presentation, swing dance lessons and glam makeover and photo sessions. Hours are Friday, noon to 8 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $8.50. Discount advance tickets are available online. All Veterans receive free admission.

The ‘Jump for the Children’ Hunter Jumper Show is Tuesday through Sunday in the Hunt Horse Complex. Admission is free. This USEF Heritage Competition benefits the Duke Children’s Hospital. Daily shows Tuesday through Sunday start at 8 a.m. with free admission except for Saturday night. Admission for Saturday’s Duke Children’s Hospital Grand Prix is $10 person. The Carolina Collector Auto Fest is Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Dorton Arena, the Graham Building and surrounding grounds. Celebrating its 31st year, this event will include a swap meet with more than 100 vendors, an indoor and outdoor car corral for buying and selling, and car/truck shows. Adult admission is $10. The Raleigh Flea Market is Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Commercial and Education building and surrounding grounds. Come explore the hundreds of booths filled with antiques, clothes and handcrafted goods this weekend.
Baby Paloosa is Saturday in the Scott Building. The event is for families focused on natural parenting and living such as cloth diapering, baby wearing, breastfeeding, natural birth and other birth options. Event also includes activities for children, services for expectant mothers, products for mothers, activities for families, healthy food choices and more. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
