Visitors can expect to find the unexpected at the flea market.
Between jewelry shows and the weekly flea market, this weekend’s events at the fairgrounds will give you the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to some new bling. Here’s what’s coming up:
- The Gem and Jewelry Show offers up a variety of gems, including bead collections, crystals and minerals from vendors across the country. Dealers will also showcase some rare items, such as giant shark’s teeth and fossils. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Scott Building on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and admission is free.
A shopper searches for a treasure at one of the flea market booths.
- Every Saturday and Sunday, visitors will find an array of clothing, jewelry, antique items and more at the Raleigh Flea Market. Whether you’re looking for decorative pieces or a rare coin collection, the flea market has you covered. The flea market is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and admission and parking are free. Come explore the Commercial and Education buildings and outside grounds for your newest find.
