The Exposition Center will be home to the Raleigh Money Expo, the biggest money show in the Carolinas, this weekend, June 8-10. At Raleigh Coin Club’s 45th annual coin, currency and stamp show, you can buy, sell and trade coins, paper money, stamps, gold, silver and more. There will also be free educational seminars and exhibits on Friday and Saturday, and a special “kids zone” with games and prizes. Hours are Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is free, but food donations for Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina will be accepted. Gem & Jewelry Show
At the Gem & Jewelry Show, dealers will offer a variety of gems, jewelry, crystals, minerals and beads for show and sale. Rare minerals, giant sharks’ teeth and fossils will be on display. Hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Scott Building. Admission is free.
