
Vendors will show a wide variety of live reptiles at the fairgrounds this weekend.
- The NCHJA Annual HunterJumper Show starts Thursday and goes through Sunday in the Hunt Horse Complex. The show will begin at 8 a.m. each day and admission is free for spectators. There will be special classes held Friday and Saturday evenings.
- The Repticon Reptile & Exotic Animal Show is open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Scott Building. Attendees will find vendors from across the country showing live animals, animal supplies and other related products. There will also be live animal presentations and educational seminars throughout the weekend. General admission for ages 13 and up is $10, admission for ages 5 to 12 is $5, and children 4 and under are admitted for free.
- The Capital City Gun Show will allow the public to buy, trade and sell all things related to shooting sports, including guns, knives, ammo, hunting supplies and more. The event will be held in the Exposition Center Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission for ages 12 and up is $10 and must be paid in cash. Saturday admission is valid for both days.
- The Raleigh Flea Market runs Saturday and Sunday at the Commercial and Education buildings and outside grounds, offering unique products from hundreds of different craftsmen and dealers. Flea market hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
