The State 4-H Horse Show begins today at 3 p.m. and runs through Sunday night at the Hunt Horse Complex. The show is designed to highlight the achievement of North Carolina’s youth in the areas of horseback riding and horse management. The N.C. State Fair and the State 4-H have enjoyed a long tradition of cooperation. The event will feature more than 100 equine competitions and a vendor fair.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the 60th Annual Raleigh Antiques Extravaganza will be held in the Graham Building. More than 100 vendors from up-and-down the East coast will be present. All things antique will be on display, including furniture, textiles, jewelry, pottery, china and glassware.
Antique lovers should also checkout the Raleigh Flea Market in the Commercial & Education Buildings and outside grounds. More than 600 vendors will offer some of North Carolina’s most unique finds.
