This weekend at the fairgrounds kicks off today with Sportscard and Sports Memorabilia 3-Day Show hosted by Inside Pitch Promotions. The event runs through Sunday and features nearly 100 vendors buying, selling or trading new and vintage sports items. Sportscards, memorabilia and NASCAR specialty items are just a few of the things to look forward to.
Spectators will also have the chance to see two different styles of horse showing this weekend at the fairgrounds. The Raleigh Fun NCHJA “C” Indoors Horse Show will feature the Hunter/Jumper style. It is the first of a series of two shows hosted by Triangle Farms. The other will be held in August. The Raleigh Summer Dressage I & II Show will showcase the dressage style. It will also feature a vendor fair. Both shows are open on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Though the winter holiday season is still nearly six months away, it’s never to early too get a head start on your shopping. The Raleigh Flea Market, with its 600 vendors from across North Carolina, is the perfect place to find a special something for someone else or a treat for yourself.
