It’s time for another weekend at the fairgrounds, complete with a consignment sale, sportscard show and horse show double-feature.
In the Graham Building and Expo Center, the Kids Exchange Consignment Sale will run Friday through Sunday. The sale will offer like-new clothes, toys and other children’s items at discounted prices. Most items will be sold at nearly one-third of their original value. Items will be marked half-price on Sunday. Admission is free and open to the public. Hours are:
- Friday 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Sunday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
More than 80 exhibitors will gather in the Scott Building for the Sportscard and Sports Memorabilia Show Friday through Sunday. Exhibitors will be buying, trading and selling vintage and new sportscards, memorabilia, NASCAR and other items. Admission is $5 per day or $7 for a weekend pass. Children ages 15 and under are admitted free of charge. Show hours are:
- Friday 2-7 p.m.
- Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
- Sunday 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
The Hunter Jumper Horse Show, sponsored by Triangle Farms, kicks off its Summer Indoors I competition this weekend at the Hunt Horse Complex. The show will feature competitors from North Carolina in professional, amateur and “wee” categories. Shows begin daily at 8 a.m. Friday through Sunday. Admission is free.
The Raleigh Summer Dressage I and II, another horse show, will also be this weekend in the Hunt Horse Complex Barn “E” Ring. Dressage and dressage sport horse breeding classes will be held both days. Event hours are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.
