Triangle Kickboxing Promotions presents the premier amateur and professional kickboxing event “Lightning Strikes” July 14 in the Scott Building. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the event starts at 7 p.m. Advance ticket prices for general admission is $35, floor preferred seating is $45 and ringside seating is $60 with limited VIP tables. Advance tickets are available at outlets and online at ETIX. Any available seats can be purchased at the door at $10 above the advance price.

Raleigh Antiques Extravaganza
The Raleigh Antiques Extravaganza features more than 125 exhibitors from Florida to New England, exhibiting quality antiques and old collectibles. Hours are Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Exposition Center. Admission is $7 per day or $8 for a weekend pass. Discount admission coupons are available.
14th Annual Children’s Good News Spectacular
Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greater Raleigh Area and several area sponsors are hosting a free event July 14 for children and families in the Graham Building. Children activities include inflatable games and rides, popcorn, snow cones and drinks, and an illusion show blended with several gospel puppet presentations. Admission is free. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Triangle Wide Horseman’s Association
The Triangle Wide Horseman’s Association is hosting an open horse show featuring Halter, Western, English and saddle seat classes for all horse breeds. Activities begin at 9 a.m., July 14 and 15. Spectator admission is free.
