The State 4-H Horse Show will be at the Hunt Horse Complex through Sunday. This championship horse show features more than 2,600 entries in 123 classes, highlighting 4-H members exhibiting their project animals and demonstrating their riding and management skills. Hours are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free.

Don't miss the Gem and Jewelry Show this weekend!
Friday thru Sunday, the Gem and Jewelry Show will be in the Scott Building. Dealers will offer a variety of gems, jewelry, crystals, minerals and beads for show and sale. Rare minerals, giant shark teeth and fossils also will be on display. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
It also looks to be a decent weekend weatherwise to shop at the Raleigh Flea Market. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday with hundreds of dealers, craftsmen and booths offering unique collectibles, home decor, and household and handmade items.
