This weekend at the fairgrounds is bound to be a knock out.
Dorton Arena will host wrestling and boxing this week. Big Time Wrestling takes over Dorton Arena on Friday and features Omega championship wrestling. The event includes steel cage matches, heavyweight championship and a lifetime achievement award will be presented to The Boogie Woogie Man, Jimmy Valiant. Meet and greet is 6 to 8 p.m. Bell time is 8 p.m. General admission is $15. Ringside and floor seating available for $25 to $50.
Nowhere to Run Boxing is Saturday and features Dewayne Beamon, Main Event North Carolina’s number 1 boxer. Doors open at 7 p.m. Ringside seats are $40, floor seats are $20 and arena seats are $10. Advance tickets can be purchased online.

Raleigh Indoors Winter Classic ‘A’ Hunter Jumper Show – Thursday through Sunday
This USEF National ‘A’ Rated hunter jumper show takes place at the Hunt Horse Complex. Shows are daily at 8 a.m. and spectator admission is free.
Raleigh Antiques Extravaganza – Friday through Sunday
This antique show features more than 125 exhibitors, from Florida to New England, selling quality antiques and old collectibles in the Exposition Center. Hours are Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $7 per day or $8 for a weekend pass. Ages 12 and under are admitted free.
The Body Mind Spirit Expo – Saturday and Sunday
This is a holistic living expo featuring health, wellness and metaphysical booths and lectures, intuitive readings, enlightened art, crystals, massage and chiropractic. Body Mind Spirit Expo is the largest health and wellness expo in the U.S. Come explore over 100 exhibitor booths and 70 free lectures in the Scott Building. Hours are Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Weekend Admission is $10 and covers both days. Children under age 10 are admitted free. Capital City Gun Show – Saturday and Sunday
This is a buy – sell -trade event for guns, knives, ammo, hunting supplies and anything related to shooting sports. Event hours are Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Graham Building. Daily admission is $10 for ages 12 and up. Saturday admission good for both days.
