It looks like warmer weather in on tap for the Triangle area this weekend, so why not enjoy it at the fairgrounds? Dinosaurs, rollergirls and health enthusiasts will make up the eclectic mix of visitors. As usual, the Raleigh Flea Market will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with hundreds of vendors selling a wide variety of goods and services.

Discover the Dinosaurs: Families can walk through prehistoric times at the Discover the Dinosaurs event Friday through Sunday in the Exposition Center. This interactive exhibit takes adventurers through life-sized recreations of dinosaurs, plus the Dino Dig, Dino Theater, Gem & Fossil Panning, Dino Mini-Golf, face painting, rides and inflatables. The event is open Friday, noon until 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets range from $13-$22.
The Carolina Rollergirls are back for a new season on their home track with a double header against the NEO Roller Derby from Akron, Ohio on Saturday in Dorton Arena. The Carolina Bootleggers face the NEO Audio Assault at 3 p.m. At 5 p.m., the Carolina All-Stars take on NEO Rockin Roller Girls. Tickets at the door are $15 for adults; $10 for students, seniors 65+ and military with ID; and $5 for children 6 and under (age six and under – 2 per adult admitted free). Doors open at 2 p.m. All seats are general admission.
Holistic living is the focus of the Body Mind Spirit Expo in the Scott Building Saturday and Sunday, featuring health, wellness and metaphysical booths and lectures. Explore more than 100 exhibitor booths and 70 free lectures. Hours are Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $10 for ages 10 and up and is good for both days. The Graham Building will host the Capital City Gun Show on Saturday and Sunday. The event is open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Daily admission is $10 for adults ages 13 and up. Saturday admission good for both days. Discount coupons available in local newspapers and on the show’s website. If you are bringing a firearm sell or trade you must enter at Gate 4. All firearms must be uncased, unloaded with the actions open when walking to the building. Follow the signs to the gun check area.
The Triangle Farms NCHJA “C” Indoors Show will be held Saturday at the Hunt Horse Complex. The show begins at 8 a.m. and spectator admission is free.
Dorton Arena is hosting the Triangle Delta Waterfowl 3rd Annual Banquet Friday night. The event includes dinner, annual membership, raffles, a live band and information on the conservation of North America’s wetlands and wildlife.
