Hustle and bustle on out to the fairgrounds this weekend. There’s a lot going on you won’t want to miss.

The N.C. State Wrestling Team hosts Old Dominion in the Holshouser Building at 7 p.m. Come check out Wolfpack wrestling at its best.

The Carolina Piedmont Dog Agility competition will take place Friday through Sunday at the Hunt Horse Complex. Judging starts at 8 a.m. daily. Watch as dogs of all breeds and their handlers compete for fastest times on obstacle courses with tunnels, weave poles, A-frames, see-saws and more.

Last Minute Christmas Shopping Expo is Saturday in the Scott Building. Shop for your last-minute Christmas gifts from more than 80 vendors. Admission is free and hours are 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Come see and take pictures with Santa from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost for a 4×6 Santa photo is $5.

Capital City Gun Show is Saturday and Sunday in the Graham Building. This is a buy, sell, trade event for guns, knives, ammo, hunting supplies and anything related to shooting sports. Hours are Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10 for ages 12 and up. Saturday admission good for both days. Discount coupons available in local newspapers and online at www.cegunshows.com.

Fiesta Navideña/Community Outreach Event is Saturday in the Holshouser Building. This event offers family information, children’s toys as well as health and other professional services. Admission is free. Hours are noon to 4 p.m. For more information call 919-554-9475 or email monicahelp@me.com.

The Raleigh Flea Market will also be open on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Come check out hundreds of vendors in the Commercial and Education Buildings and outside grounds.

It would be hard for me to pick a favorite part of the Fair, but I can tell you one thing I hate - leaving it on the last day. I can't wait for opening day!
