It’s turning out to be another diverse weekend at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. This weekend’s events kick off Friday with the North Carolina RV Dealers Association’s Fall RV Show and Sale, which runs through Sunday in the Graham Building and Exposition Center. This show and sale offers the largest selection of new and used RVs under one roof. Hours are Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission is $10 for adults and is free for children 12 and under. - Senior Day: $6 (Friday, 10 am. to 5 p.m., only for seniors 55 and older)
- Family Night: $5 (Friday and Saturday after 5 p.m)
- Military/Law Enforcement Day: $5 (All day Friday)

The Original Coin & Currency Show, Aug. 29 and 30
Rare Coins of Raleigh presents the Original Coin and Currency Show in the Scott Building Saturday and Sunday. The show offers a variety of numismatic items including rare coins, precious metals, paper money, and coin collecting books and supplies. You can also bring your own coins to be appraised or bought. This is a great event for the entire family. Hours are Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
NCDCTA Labor of Love Horse Show, Aug 29 and 30
The N.C. Dressage and Combined Training Association will host its Labor of Love Horse Show at the Hunt Horse Complex Saturday and Sunday. This youth team competition show will consist of all levels of dressage competition. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Spectator admission is free.
Raleigh Flea Market, Aug. 29 and 30
Come out to one of the largest flea markets in the Southeast. The Raleigh Flea Market will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You’ll find products from more than 600 vendors including baked goods and furniture.
