The Midway is hoppin’ today, thanks in part to the unlimited ride wristband festival visitors can buy for $20. The deal started today at 3 p.m., and is good until the Midway closes tonight at 10 p.m.
You can also purchase tickets individually. Each tickets is $1, or you can buy sheets of 14 tickets for $10 and 30 tickets for $20.
Check out the wide variety of carnival rides and let us know which one was your favorite.
About Cotton Candy
Karlie Justus - blogged for the 2008 / 2009 N.C. State Fairs.
This is her bio from 2009:
When I'm not blogging for the N.C. State Fair, I go by Karlie Justus--but Cotton Candy suits me just fine. My earliest memories of the Fair are of the times my parents would bring my brother and I up from Asheville, N.C. for a double dose of the Fair and a N.C. State football game. Fast-forward two decades later, and I'm a public information officer for the deep fried celebration whose must-see Fair attractions include the giant pumpkins, decorated cakes and deep fried Oreos.
I miss rides… Ever since I visited Cedar Point I got totally addicted to carnivals and festivals and such things. Maybe these rides are not like Millenium Force, but I am sure I’m not gonna miss them!
