Whether it was on the contest website, our blog, Facebook page or Twitter feed, we hope by now you’ve heard about Subway’s Great Fair-A-Thon Challenge. If not, here’s a quick rundown on the contest:
- Start by collecting clues in a virtual scavenger hunt (the fifth and final clue is below).
- Use the clues to complete an online game card by Thursday, Oct. 7.
- We’ll select teams from the winning entries to compete in a live scavenger hunt at the N.C. State Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 19, starting at 10 a.m.
- The top two teams from that scavenger hunt will go head-to-head in a Fair-related trivia contest hosted by Subway’s Jared Fogle for a chance to win a trip to New York City to watch Jared compete in the NYC Marathon.
If you’d like to race around the fairgrounds and win a free trip to New York, then make sure you submit all five clues by this Thursday. The final clue is below.

A: (Any one of the following answers will be correct) ncstatefair.org (etix.com), N.C. State Fairgrounds (Gate 9), N.C. Museum of History, State Farmers Market, Triangle Town Center, Holly Hill Mall (Burlington Square Mall), Wilson Mall, Northgate Mall, University Mall or Clayton Crossings Shopping Center (Lowes Food Shopping Center in Clayton).
