Football, pumpkin spice and the traditional school year have all returned – which must mean that the N.C. State Fair is right around the corner. Save time in line, money and plan a fabulous fair trip with these packages. The are designed for every type of fairgoer:
The Fair Mega Fan:
Ok. You may be our favorite type of fairgoer. You are the one that looks forward to opening day, pours over the daily schedule checking out this year’s cool new stuff and would never ever make other plans because, well, the fair’s in town.
The Mega Fan Mini Pass allows the bearer FastTrack gate admission tickets any five days of the Fair. The pass is only valid for one scan per day. Multiple scans per day are not permitted. Mini Passes are only available online in advance of the Fair.
The Fair Flyer Fan:
Since its debut at the 2016 N.C. State Fair, the flyer has won over its fans with spectacular views of the fair’s midway. If your ideal fair experience includes walking around to visit the booths, eating something delicious and then relaxing with a 15-minute Fair Flyer ride, then this package is for you. It’s also for those who want a quick trip across the fairgrounds that cuts out a lot of walking. The round-trip flyer ride can be broken into two one-way trips.
The Fair Flyer package includes two FastTrack gate admission tickets and two round-trip State Fair Flyer tickets for $26. State Fair Flyer tickets are not valid for carnival rides. State Fair Flyer tickets purchased online may be redeemed at the State Fair Flyer. This package is only available online in advance of the Fair.
The Ride ALL Day Fan:
Some people come to the fair for the food, others come for the exhibits. You are the person that comes because the N.C. State Fair midway has more than 100 rides and is one of the biggest in the country. The Dizzy Pass was made for you.
The Dizzy Pass inlcudes one FastTrack gate admission ticket and 1 unlimited ride wristband for $31. Each wristband will be valid for one day only during the 2018 N.C. State Fair. Advance sale wristband vouchers will be redeemed at the N.C. State Fair Ride Redemption Tents. Rider must be present at redemption for wristband to be applied.
The N.C. Craft Beer and Wine Fan:
Last year the fair introduced the Our State Public House in Heritage Circle, giving state fairgoers that are fans of the state’s booming craft beer and local wine movement an opportunity to sample N.C. wines and beer. If a visit to the Our State Public House is going to be part of your fair day, this package is for you.
The Kegs and Corks Pass is $15 and includes one FastTrack gate admission ticket and one Our State Public House admission ticket. Visitors will be allowed their choice of two 8 ounce N.C. craft beer samples or two 3 ounce N.C. wine samples.
The Casey Cardinal Fan:
Casey’s Family 4-pack is probably the most popular fair package offered. The deal comes with 4 FastTrack gate admissions, 2 ride sheets and 1 Casey Cardinal plush doll for $50. It’s the perfect package for a family of four planning their fair trip.
A voucher will be printed for your Casey Cardinal plush. Bring the voucher to the official State Fair store, “The Nest,” to pick up your Casey. Located in the lobby of the Expo Center, “The Nest” is open Thursday, Oct. 11 from 4 – 9:45 p.m. and Friday, October 12-Sunday, Oct. 21 from 9 a.m. – 9:45 p.m.

All packages can be purchased online at ncstatefair.org. Purchases must be made by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 11. FastTrack gate admission skips the ticketing line at all N.C. State Fair gates. FastTrack Gate Admission does not apply to carnival rides or the State Fair Flyer.
