We had so much fun getting to meet our tweeps in person during last year’s Deep Fried Triangle Tweetup at the N.C. State Fair that we decided to do it all again. This time, we’re moving the celebration to the very first day of the Fair to offer you a first glimpse at the rides, food and entertainment you can expect at the Fair. The Deep Fried Triangle Tweetup, co-hosted with OurHashtag, will be held on Preview Day, Thursday, Oct. 14, from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Folk Festival tent at the N.C. State Fair. Details behind the Tweetup: Entertainer/artist edition

As we get closer and closer to the Deep Fried Triangle Tweetup, we wanted to give you a little more information on what you can expect at the event beyond lots of tweeting, lots of friends and lots of N.C. State Fair lovers. We’ll be “releasing” these details every few days leading up to Thursday, Oct. 22, when four cans will get you into the fairgrounds for free. Ignite Raleigh, one week later

The Bearded Lady, Firecracker, GreenThing and I were lucky enough to attend the Ignite Raleigh event last week at Lincoln Theater, and it was a really cool night.
