Weekend Update: Sept. 9-11

Opa! The 35th Annual Greek Festival is Friday from 5 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday  from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Graham Building. Adult admission is $3, but you can find a coupon for free on their website. Admission for children ages 13 to 19 and seniors is $2, while children ages 12 and under are admitted free. Weekend Update: Sept. 11-13

Opa! It’s Greek Festival weekend at the Fairgrounds. That means if you are headed to the fairgrounds come hungry.  The festival will start at 5 p.m. Friday in the Graham building and include authentic Greek food, homemade Greek pastries, a marketplace and live Greek music and dancers. Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for ages 13 to 19 and Senior Citizens, and ages 12 and under are free. Weekend Update: September 9-11

Friday and Saturday, the N.C. State Charity Classic Horse Show will be held in the Hunt Horse Complex. The show will include 50 competitions and performances and more than 25 horse academies for children. Proceeds from the show will benefit the Lions Club. The Light 103.9 presents the annual Unity in the Community Day in the Scott Building and parking lot at Blue Ridge and Trinity Roads Saturday.
