Easter weekend events at the fairgrounds

If you have out-of-town guests for Easter or time to kill between egg hunts, then come on out to the fairgrounds. This weekend features a variety of events, including Hamfest, a sports-card and memorabilia show, the flea market and more. Event information is below: Saturday’s Sports Card, Memorabilia, & Comic Con  features more than 75 exhibitors that will be buying, selling and trading vintage to new sportscards, memorabilia and comics on over 160 tables in the Scott Building. Weekend Update: May 12-14

Saturday could be the perfect girl’s day out at the fairgrounds. The Raleigh Spring Lula Palooza is in the Exposition Center. More than 30 LuLaRoe consultants will have more than 13,000 items including skirts, dresses, shirts, leggings and more. Sizes range from XXS to 3XL. The event features multiple dressing rooms and a central check out location. Admission is free. Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. While at the fairgrounds check out the antiques and one-of-a-kind gifts for moms or yourself at the Raleigh Flea Market. Weekend Update: May 6-8

Haven’t check out the Triangle’s newest professional indoor football team? This Sunday is your chance as the Triangle Torch returns to Dorton Arena to take on the Philly Yellow Jackets. Doors open at 2 p.m. and the game starts at 4 p.m. Box seats are $18 for adults and $13 for chidren. General admission is $12 for adults and $7 for children. Season tickets are also available.
