Weekend Update: March 21-23

Enjoy the first weekend of Spring with a visit to the Raleigh Flea Market or one of the other events at the N.C. State Fairgrounds this weekend. The Raleigh Flea Market will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with hundreds of vendors offering a variety of goods and services in the Commercial and Education buildings and the outside grounds. Weekend Update: March 23-25

Spring has sprung, which means it must be time for the Kennel Club Dog Show. The Championship Purebred AKC event started yesterday and will continue through Sunday. Area kennel clubs will host daily dog shows, obedience and rally trials. Shows will run in the Graham Building from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m each day. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 7-12. Senior citizens and children under 7 are admitted free. Weekend Update: August 12-14

Friday and Saturday the Children’s Spring Clothing and Baby Equipment Sale will be held in the Scott Building. Sponsored by Triangle Mothers of Twins & Triplets, the event will feature gently used items on sale at drastically reduced prices. Some of the items on sale will include maternity, infant and childrens clothing, toys, books, games, bikes, bedding and equipment. The Toy Train Sale and Swap Meet will be held in the Scott Building Sunday and will feature more than 100 vendors selling gauge trains, accessories, track, switches and hard-to-find parts among other things.
