If you have out-of-town guests for Easter or time to kill between egg hunts, then come on out to the fairgrounds. This weekend features a variety of events, including Hamfest, a sports-card and memorabilia show, the flea market and more. Weekend Update: Dinosaurs: Time Trek, India Fest, Puppapalooza and more

Puppies and cats and dinosaurs? Oh my! It’s that kind of weekend at the fairgrounds where there’s something for everyone. Visitors to the State Fairgrounds can travel back to prehistoric times with the Dinosaurs: Time Trek exhibit on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Graham Building. This event will feature a life-like interactive dinosaur exhibit as well as activities such as Design-A-Dino, Prehistoric Poop and Race Through Time Labyrinth. Weekend Update: Raleigh Flea Market returns Nov. 4

The Raleigh Flea Market reopens Saturday, Nov. 4, after a month-long break for the N.C. State Fair. The flea market is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays except during October, when the annual State Fair is held. The flea market will be open regular hours on Thanksgiving weekend, but will not be open Friday, Nov. 24. India Fest, with more than 1,200 performers, returns to the fairgrounds this Saturday and Sunday in an expanded location. Enjoy the largest Indian cultural celebration of it’s kind in the nation. Discover Indian cultural arts through dance, music, cuisine and traditional crafts in a bazaar-style atmosphere in the Exposition Center. The Triangle’s largest Chinese New Year Festival is this Saturday in Dorton Arena. Celebrate the Year of the Rooster with Chinese and Asian cultural performances on stage, exhibits, food and merchandise vendors offering arts and crafts for the entire family to enjoy.
