Weekend Update: May 24 – 27

Hanging around home this Memorial Day weekend? You can find plenty of activities at the State Fairgrounds. Come on out to the 45th Southern States Regional Morgan Horse Show, a world-class event with more than 200 Morgans from across the United States. The horses compete in divisions ranging from Hunt and Classic Pleasure to English and Park, with classes both under saddle and in harness. There are also dressage trail and carriage classes and vendors displaying a variety of unique equine gifts. Spectator admission is free. Weekend Update: May 27-29

A weekend full of fun awaits visitors to the State Fairgrounds this Friday through Sunday. Check out the following events: The final two days of the Southern States Regional Morgan Horse Show are Friday and Saturday, with free admission for the public. The event features over 200 Morgan horses coming from across the nation to compete. This show also offers carriage classes and vendors selling horse-themed gifts. Weekend Update: May 25-28

Get an early start to your Memorial Day weekend  at the Fairgrounds with the opening of the Southern States Regional Morgan Horse Show today at the James B. Hunt Horse Complex.  The event runs through Saturday and shows will feature a variety of horses including the dressage, English pleasure, Western, Hunt and Classic styles.
