Saturday’s celebration of the Chinese Year of the Dog will be held Saturday in Dorton Arena. The Chinese New Year celebration will feature many Chinese and Asian cultural performances, such as lion and dragon dances, vocal performers and traditional Chinese music, food and crafts. The Triangle’s largest Chinese New Year Festival is this Saturday in Dorton Arena. Celebrate the Year of the Rooster with Chinese and Asian cultural performances on stage, exhibits, food and merchandise vendors offering arts and crafts for the entire family to enjoy. The Farm Show is the largest event of the year at the fairgrounds, other than the N.C. State Fair, of course!
