Weekend Update: July 1-3

  Slithering, scaly pets will fill the Scott Building for the Repticon Reptile and Exotic Animal Show Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Scott Building. Admission is $10 for ages 13 and older, $5 for children 5 to 12, and free for children 4 and under. Two-day passes are $15. Check out what’s happening at the state fairgrounds this weekend: Piedmont Racing Expo & Auction will be Friday and Saturday in the Exposition Center. This is a racing trade show and the area’s largest consignment auction of racing-related parts, tools and equipment. Scaly critters and creepy crawlers invade the fairgrounds this weekend as Repticon hosts its Reptile and Exotic Animal Show in the Scott Building Saturday and Sunday. The convention will feature vendors from across the country, offering live animals, animal supplies and other related merchandise. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Come one, come all to the fairgrounds this weekend. With antiques, coins, reptiles and horses, there’s definitely something for every member of the family. The 64th Raleigh Antiques Extravaganza will be in the Graham Building. There will be more than 125 exhibitors from across the East Coast selling and trading their quality antiques and collectibles.
