Lizards and snakes and turtles, oh my! The Repticon Reptile & Exotic Animal Show is coming to the Scott Building at the Fairgrounds June 30 and July 1. Repticon is a reptile and exotic animal convention that showcases vendors from around the country offering live animals, animal supplies and related merchandise. Live animals, presentations and educational seminars are presented throughout the show. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. VIP admission for 9 a.m. Saturday is $12. The snow has melted and this weekend promises to be busy one at the fairgrounds. Come out and enjoy the mild weather at the Raleigh Flea Market, one of the largest in the Southeast, or one of the events listed below. 95th North State Toy & Hobby Show is Friday and Saturday in Dorton Arena. Weekend Update: July 1-3

  Slithering, scaly pets will fill the Scott Building for the Repticon Reptile and Exotic Animal Show Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Scott Building. Admission is $10 for ages 13 and older, $5 for children 5 to 12, and free for children 4 and under. Two-day passes are $15.
