With bottles, military items, antiques and money, it’s an eclectic mix of collections at the fairgrounds this weekend. Weekend Update: June 24-26

Discover the Dinosaurs in the Expo Center

Visitors to the State Fairgrounds can travel back to prehistoric times via the Discover the Dinosaurs exhibit on Friday from noon to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Graham Building. Weekend Update: June 26-28

Scaly critters and creepy crawlers invade the fairgrounds this weekend as Repticon hosts its Reptile and Exotic Animal Show in the Scott Building Saturday and Sunday. The convention will feature vendors from across the country, offering live animals, animal supplies and other related merchandise. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Spectators can view live animal presentations and seminars throughout the day. VIP Hour/early admission (at 9 a.m.) is $12 and is only available for the Saturday show. Weekend Update: July 18-20

It’s a busy weekend at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. The Raleigh Antiques Extravaganza will take place in the Graham Building through Sunday. This event features over 125 exhibitors from up and dowm the East Coast showing quality antiques and old collectibles. Hours are Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $6.50 per day or $7.50 for a weekend pass.
