Weekend Update: May 27-29

A weekend full of fun awaits visitors to the State Fairgrounds this Friday through Sunday. Check out the following events: The final two days of the Southern States Regional Morgan Horse Show are Friday and Saturday, with free admission for the public. The event features over 200 Morgan horses coming from across the nation to compete. This show also offers carriage classes and vendors selling horse-themed gifts. Weekend Update: May 23-25

The fairgrounds are a little quieter than normal this weekend with it being a holiday weekend, but the weather is forecast to be near perfect (low 80s and sunny) to enjoy a beautiful day at the Raleigh Flea Market or to take in one of the other events. Weekend update: May 24-27

This weekend is a holiday weekend, and as such, there will be fewer events at the fairgrounds. But don’t let that stop you from coming out and enjoying the Raleigh Flea Market and the few events that are happening: The Equestrian Exchange Tack Consignment Sale in the Holshouser Building offers the opportunity to buy and consign anything related to equestrian sport.
