Weekend Update: June 19-21

Vintage car lovers will be in heaven this weekend as the Raleigh Classic Car Auction brings flair, flash and horsepower to the N.C. State fairgrounds. The auction showcases four private collections offering more than 250 vintage vehicles including classic brands such as Chevrolet and Ford, and rare brands such as Duesenberg. The auction will take place in the Graham Building and Exposition Center. Weekend Update: Jan. 13-16

If you’re a serious collector of coins, toys, guns or automobiles, then you won’t want to miss this weekend at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. Today is the opening day of the Piedmont Racing Expo and Auction, featuring more than 40 short-track motorsport vendors and more than 1,000 auction items up for grabs. The fun continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the Raleigh Fairgrounds Racer’s Reunion. Weekend Update: September 23-25

Though the fair is still a few weeks away, this weekend the fairgrounds will be abuzz with activity. The weekend kicks off with the Southern Ideal Home Show in the Graham Building and Exposition Center Friday through Sunday. The Triangle’s biggest and best home and garden event and will be packed full with hundreds of experts providing advice on home projects and selling home and garden-related products.
