The snow has melted and this weekend promises to be busy one at the fairgrounds. Come out and enjoy the mild weather at the Raleigh Flea Market, one of the largest in the Southeast, or one of the events listed below. 95th North State Toy & Hobby Show is Friday and Saturday in Dorton Arena. Weekend Update: Sept. 23-25

It’s a big weekend at the fairgrounds. The Southern Ideal Home Show takes over the Graham Building and the Exposition Center for three days with lots of great home improvement ideas. And this is the last weekend for the Flea Market. All the flea market vendors will have to move out to make room for the State Fair, so there will be plenty of deals to be had. Weekend Update: June 17-19

The State Fairgrounds will be filled with classic cars, toys and miscellaneous treasures this weekend. Upcoming events include: The Raleigh Classic Car Auction is Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Graham Building and the Exposition Center. Adult admission is $10 per day or $15 for a two-day pass; admission for children 12 and under is $5 per day or $7 for a two-day pass. Weekend Update: Sept. 25-27

It’s the first weekend of fall at the state fairgrounds, which means the N.C. State Fair is right around the corner. It also means that this the last weekend to enjoy the Raleigh Flea Market before in closes in preparation for the annual State Fair. Each weekend, the Commercial and Education buildings and grounds host hundred of dealers selling antiques, furniture, bargains, collectibles and more. Weekend Update: June 20-22

This weekend, the fairgrounds will travel back in time with a classic car auction and antique toy collectibles shows. The Raleigh Classic is hosting a Classic Car Auction Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be four private collections with more than 250 vintage vehicles for auction. Visitors can preview the cars Friday morning from 8-10 a.m. before the bidding begins. Admission for adults is $10 per day or $15 for a two-day pass. People who enjoy all things retro have three great events at the fairgrounds to checkout this weekend. Auctions America presents the Raleigh Classic Car Auctions in the Graham Building and Exposition Center. First week of fall on the fairgrounds

If you couldn’t tell by the recent weather, the turning of the seasons is upon us. Today marks the first day of fall, which can mean only one thing: There are only 22 days (!) until the N.C.
