It’s a party for the whole family on Blue Ridge

West Raleigh is the place to be this weekend as our neighbor, the N.C. Museum of Art, hosts its grand opening celebration. But, that’s not the only thing happening on Blue Ridge Road this weekend; the fairgrounds will be full of activities for women, children, teens and clowns of all ages. Fairgrounds events add culture, variety to the first weekend of spring.

By all accounts, spring will begin with a weekend full of beautiful weather. What better time for a family outing at the N.C. State Fairgrounds? With hundreds of events each year, the fairgrounds offers a variety of activities to choose from, and some of the more popular shows have a decidedly cultural flair. The India Fest Cultural Arts Showcase will take place in Dorton Arena Friday through Sunday.
