Weekend Update: September 2-4

This weekend, the fairgrounds is packed full of wonderful events. kicking off with the  Equestrian Exchange Consignment Sale which began Wednesday in the Holshouser Building. This event offers visitors the opportunity to buy and consign anything related to the equestrian sport. Four other events this weekend are also animal related: Starting Friday local kennel clubs will host all-breed dog shows, dog obedience competitions and rally trials as part of the Kennel Club Dog Shows in the Graham Building. Weekend Update: August 25-27

Friday through Sunday the Triangle Farms will host a NCHJA “C” Horse Show in the Hunt Horse Complex. The event will feature Hunter/Jumper style competition On Saturday, the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greater Raleigh will host its annual Children’s Good News Spectacular. The event will be held in the Graham Building and will feature inflatable games and rides, popcorn, snow cones, drinks, an illusion show and several gospel presentations. Weekend Update: August 19-21

The Carolina Fall Boat Show & Sale comes to the Graham Building Saturday and Sunday. Boating enthusiasts will find more than than 25 dealers showing board and personal watercraft in all price ranges. The East West Classic Motorcycle Swap Meet & Show will feature 14 vintage motorcycle competitions and a vendor fair. Weekend Update: August 12-14

Friday and Saturday the Children’s Spring Clothing and Baby Equipment Sale will be held in the Scott Building. Sponsored by Triangle Mothers of Twins & Triplets, the event will feature gently used items on sale at drastically reduced prices. Some of the items on sale will include maternity, infant and childrens clothing, toys, books, games, bikes, bedding and equipment. Weekend Update: August 5-7

With five distinctively different events, there is truly something for everyone at the fairgrounds this weekend. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday Inkfest Live: The Urban Tattoo Expo will be held in the Exposition Center. The event will feature tattoo artists from around the world showcasing their craft. Graffiti demonstrations, live musical performances and custom car and bike displays will also be included. Weekend Update: July 29-31

This weekend at the fairgrounds kicks off today with Sportscard and Sports Memorabilia 3-Day Show hosted by Inside Pitch Promotions. The event runs through Sunday and features nearly 100 vendors buying, selling or trading new and vintage sports items. Sportscards, memorabilia and NASCAR specialty items are just a few of the things to look forward to. Weekend Update: July 22-24

Anyone interested in antiques should check out two great events at the fairgrounds this weekend. The Bead Mercantile Show will be held in Scott Building on Saturday and Sunday. The events will feature vendors from all over the country selling beads and bead-related items. In addition, there will be workshops on bead-related topics and crafts. The Raleigh Kids Exchange Consignment Sale begins today and continues through Sunday in the Graham Building and Exposition Center. The event bills itself as “the ultimate recycle” and “the nation’s largest consignment event.” In the past few years the event has grown steadily, so expect to see a wide variety of items. The holiday weekend at the fairgrounds kicks off today with the start of the NCHJA Annual Hunter Jumper Show at the Hunt Horse Complex. Horses will compete for thousands of dollars in prize money, and the show will feature a variety of special events open to the public. Auctions America presents the Raleigh Classic Car Auctions in the Graham Building and Exposition Center.
