Weekend Update: March 11-13

The Carolina Collector Auto Fest is returning for its 29th year this weekend. Cars will be on display in Dorton Arena, Graham Building and outside grounds. This swap meet includes more than 125 vendors, car corral for buying and selling, and car and truck shows. Saturday’s show features vehicles made from 1900 to 1979 vehicles and Sunday’s features an  open car show with all makes, models, domestic and imports. Weekend Update: Feb. 26-28

This weekend at the fairgrounds is bound to be a knock out. Dorton Arena will host wrestling and boxing this week. Big Time Wrestling takes over Dorton Arena on Friday and features Omega championship wrestling. The event includes steel cage matches, heavyweight championship and a lifetime achievement award will be presented to The Boogie Woogie Man, Jimmy Valiant. Meet and greet is 6 to 8 p.m. Bell time is 8 p.m. General admission is $15. Ringside and floor seating available for $25 to $50. Here’s a look at the line up of events this weekend at the fairgrounds: The popular Kids Exchange Consignment Sale is returning to the Graham Building and Exposition Center this weekend, featuring more than 3 acres of gently used clothes, toys, accessories, furniture, bedding, books, videos and more.
