Meet the Superintendent: Don Edwards

Every year at the State Fair, there are hundreds of different competitions to enter. Each category of competitions is managed by its own superintendent who oversees the show schedules, volunteers, and operations. This year the poultry show will have a new superintendent, Don Edwards, but he is hardly new to the event.   Parents seeking to outfit their ever-growing children are in luck because the popular Kids Exchange Consignment Sale is this weekend in the Graham Building and the Exposition Center. Weekend Update: July 15-17

You can catch a horse show in the morning, antiques in the afternoon and a circus at night this weekend at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. Not to be forgotten is the free Children’s Good News Spectacular on Saturday. Discover the Dinosaurs in the Expo Center

Visitors to the State Fairgrounds can travel back to prehistoric times via the Discover the Dinosaurs exhibit on Friday from noon to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Graham Building.
