Weekend Update: Feb. 14-16

Bounce back from a few days at home by coming out to what will be a busy weekend at the Fairgrounds.  Events include car shows, bull riding, drag bingo and toy and train show.  As always, the Raleigh Flea Market takes place each weekend in the Commercial and Education buildings and outside grounds from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Events this weekend North Carolina International Auto Expo will be in the Graham Building, Exposition Center and Dorton Arena on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Weekend Update: Dec. 13-15

This weekend at the fairgrounds the popular Bulls, Bells and Barrels show will take place in the Hunt Horse Complex on Friday and Saturday. This event features championship bull riding and barrel racing. Western and equestrian-themed Christmas items will also be available. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. General admission is $10, VIP admission is $15, and children ages 5 and under get in free. Weekend Update: April 19-21

Through Sunday outside of Gate 10, you’ll find what Cole Brothers Circus claims to be the “World’s Largest Circus Under The Big Top!” This circus has all of the traditional circus elements, including tigers, elephants, comedy dogs, clowns, showgirls, acrobats, high wire acts, Globe of Death and the human cannonball.
