If your dream is to travel the world in an RV come on out to to the Spring RV Show & Sale at the Fairgrounds this weekend in the Graham Building, Exposition Center, Dorton Arena and outside grounds. This event, promoted by the N.C. Dealers Association, offers the largest selection of new and used RVs under one roof. Weekend Update: Aug. 14-16

If you’re looking for a fun and inexpensive way to entertain the whole family this weekend, here’s some good news: The 11th Annual Children’s Good News Spectacular will be held in the Graham Building this Saturday. The Child Evangelism Fellowship of the Greater Raleigh Area and several area sponsors are hosting this free area-wide event for children and families. Weekend Update: May 2-4

All things moms comes a week early to the N.C. State Fairgrounds as the All about Motherhood Expo will be held in the Holshouser Building on Saturday and Sunday. The expo will include talks by pregnancy, childbirth and parenting experts, educators and real parents as well as a maternity expo, dads panel, exhibits by local retailers and more. Weekend Update: Feb. 28-March 2

It’s Dixie Deer Classic time at the Fairgrounds as this huge event takes over Dorton Arena, Graham Building, Exposition Center, Scott Building, Holshouser Building and outside grounds. This event is a deer hunter’s dream offering the latest in hunting equipment from more than 200 vendors.  The event also features seminars, displays, trophy scoring and an archery competition. Weekend Update: Feb. 3-5

The Southern Farm Show, the largest agriculture exposition in the Carolinas and Virginia, wraps up today at the State Fairgrounds. More than 500 farm-equipment vendors, agricultural experts and commodity groups will be set up until 4 p.m. After the show, head over to the Hunt Horse Complex for the Southern National Draft Horse Pull at 6 p.m. The Southern Farm Show took up most of the fairgrounds this week, but there are other events going on this weekend at the Hunt Horse Complex and Scott Building.
