Weekend Update: March 24-26

Come celebrate the first weekend of spring at the fairgrounds. We’ve got a variety of events: The Raleigh Flea Market is Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the Commercial and Education buildings and surrounding grounds. Come explore the hundreds of booths filled with antiques, clothes and handcrafted goods this weekend. Or, if you’ve been doing a little spring cleaning, rent a booth and sell some of your unwanted stuff. Information on booth rental is available at the flea market’s website: raleighfleamarket.net. Weekend Update: May 20-22

It’s a celebration of food and agriculture at the ninth annual Got to Be N.C. Festival.  Come enjoy a mix of food, fun, music, carnival rides, tractors and more. Gate admission is free. Highlights include: Homegrown Fare, sponsored by Lowes Foods, will be in the Exposition Center. Nearly 100 North Carolina companies will be sampling and selling their products. 8th annual Masonic Carolina Pig Jig BBQ Cook-off will be Saturday beside the Expo Center. Weekend Update: May 13-15

Dorton Arena will be where all the action is this weekend with boxing on Friday night and kickboxing on Saturday.
