Weekend Update: August 2-4

The Dixie Gun & Knife Classic will be held in the Graham Building this weekend. Exhibitors will show modern and collectible firearms, custom-made knives, hunting and fishing equipment, ammunition, gun accessories and reloading supplies. Weekend Update: Nov. 16-18

RMI Raleigh Benefit Hunter/Jumper Show Hunter and jumper competitions return to the Hunt Horse complex this week with the RMI Raleigh Benefit Hunter/Jumper Show. The mercury’s rising in Raleigh and so are the number of fun events happening this weekend at the fairgrounds. We’ve got cheer competitions, cultural events and activities for all types of collectors. Read on to see what’s happening this weekend at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. Saturday, Dorton Arena will be full of high-flying kicks, handstands and lots of cheer at the Young Champions Cheer Regional Competition. Weekend Update: Jan. 13-16

If you’re a serious collector of coins, toys, guns or automobiles, then you won’t want to miss this weekend at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. Today is the opening day of the Piedmont Racing Expo and Auction, featuring more than 40 short-track motorsport vendors and more than 1,000 auction items up for grabs. The fun continues Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with the Raleigh Fairgrounds Racer’s Reunion. Weekend Update: November 18-20

The RMI Raleigh Benefit Hunter/Jumper Show is already underway at the Hunt Horse Complex. The event benefits the Hunt Seat Equestrian Club at N.C. State University and the U.S. Equine Rescue League, which cares for neglected or abused horses across the nation. Shows will continue through Sunday.
