Enjoy the long Easter weekend with a family trip to the Cole Brother Circus at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. Cole Brothers Circus claims to be the “World’s Largest Circus Under The Big Top!” This circus has all of the traditional circus elements, including tigers, elephants, comedy dogs, clowns, showgirls, acrobats, high wire acts, the Globe of Death and the human cannonball. Time to prepare for another exciting weekend at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. This weekend, we’ll have brides and bridles, dinner and dancing, plus some amazing big-top performances. Plus, the largest flea market in Raleigh. Read on to see what’s in store this weekend. Weekend update: April 22-24

We hope everyone affected by last week’s tornadoes is on the road to recovery. It has been heartbreaking to watch the news reports and see the destruction that left so many families without a home. The N.C. State Fairgrounds was fortunate and received little damage. Many of you were at the fairgrounds during the storm, and we’d like to thank those who have shared their photos with us. It’s a party for the whole family on Blue Ridge

West Raleigh is the place to be this weekend as our neighbor, the N.C. Museum of Art, hosts its grand opening celebration. But, that’s not the only thing happening on Blue Ridge Road this weekend; the fairgrounds will be full of activities for women, children, teens and clowns of all ages.
