RMI Raleigh Benefit Hunter/Jumper Show Hunter and jumper competitions return to the Hunt Horse complex this week with the RMI Raleigh Benefit Hunter/Jumper Show. Weekend Update: Feb. 16-19

Entrepreneurs, horses, felines, fish and the start of the 2012 Carolina Rollergirls season are all part of a presidential lineup of events this weekend at the N.C. State Fairgrounds. The Carolina Rollergirls return to Dorton Arena Saturday for the start of the 2012 season. Weekend Update: November 18-20

The RMI Raleigh Benefit Hunter/Jumper Show is already underway at the Hunt Horse Complex. The event benefits the Hunt Seat Equestrian Club at N.C. State University and the U.S. Equine Rescue League, which cares for neglected or abused horses across the nation. Shows will continue through Sunday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the Women’s Club of Raleigh will host its annual Antiques Show and Sale in the Scott Building. Weekend Update: June 10-12

The 2011 Tarheel Triple Classic began yesterday and will continue through June 18 at the Hunt Horse Complex. The classic features 10 full days of horse shows and combines the N.C. Quarter Horse Association’s Show, Jamboree and Little Futurity into one event.  The event is one of largest of its kind on the East Coast, and $200,000 in prizes will be given away at the main show on Monday night. Got to Be NC Festival and much more

We’re getting ready for a jam-packed weekend full of family fun, and wanted to fill you in on all the activities available at the State Fairgrounds beginning Thursday. The Got to Be NC Festival will take over most of the Fairgrounds with carnival rides and antique tractors on display in the Midway area, vendors and a community stage in the Jim Graham Building and the Food & Wine Expo in the Expo Center. The N.C. State Fairgrounds is blooming with activities this weekend. Garden enthusiasts will want to check out two events happening in the Flower and Garden Show area this weekend. The Gardeners of Wake County will host its annual Azalea Sale to raise money for horticultural scholarships and other projects at N.C. State University. The 4-H also will be on hand selling a variety of annuals and perennials.
