Weekend Update: Nov. 13-15

More than 125 vendors will be showcasing classic cars at the Carolina Collector Auto Fest. The event runs Friday through Sunday in the Dorton Arena, Graham Building and outside grounds. Celebrating it’s 28th year, this event features a car corral for buying and selling, and car and truck shows. Hours are Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.;  Saturday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5 for the Swap-n-Shop on Friday, $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, military and students, $5 for ages 11 to 15, and free for 10 and under. Weekend Update: Sept. 7-9

We’re getting ready for the 2012 N.C. State Fair, which starts in a little under five weeks. In the meantime, stop by the fairgrounds this weekend and enjoy some amazing events. Weekend Update: September 23-25

Though the fair is still a few weeks away, this weekend the fairgrounds will be abuzz with activity. The weekend kicks off with the Southern Ideal Home Show in the Graham Building and Exposition Center Friday through Sunday. The Triangle’s biggest and best home and garden event and will be packed full with hundreds of experts providing advice on home projects and selling home and garden-related products.
