Lizards and snakes and turtles, oh my! The Repticon Reptile & Exotic Animal Show is coming to the Scott Building at the Fairgrounds June 30 and July 1. Repticon is a reptile and exotic animal convention that showcases vendors from around the country offering live animals, animal supplies and related merchandise. Live animals, presentations and educational seminars are presented throughout the show. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. VIP admission for 9 a.m. Saturday is $12. Weekend Update: Auto fest, autocross and more

It’s a full house at the fairgrounds. Come on out and browse: The Carolina Collector Auto Fest takes over Dorton Arena, the Graham Building and the grounds between the buildings this weekend. This event is celebrating its 32nd year and will include a swap meet with more than 100 vendors and an indoor and outdoor car corral for buying and selling. Weekend update: March 17-19

India Fest, with more than 1,200 performers, returns to the fairgrounds this Saturday and Sunday in an expanded location. Enjoy the largest Indian cultural celebration of it’s kind in the nation. Discover Indian cultural arts through dance, music, cuisine and traditional crafts in a bazaar-style atmosphere in the Exposition Center. Weekend Update: July 1-3

  Slithering, scaly pets will fill the Scott Building for the Repticon Reptile and Exotic Animal Show Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Scott Building. This weekend at the fairgrounds is bound to be a knock out. Dorton Arena will host wrestling and boxing this week. Big Time Wrestling takes over Dorton Arena on Friday and features Omega championship wrestling. The event includes steel cage matches, heavyweight championship and a lifetime achievement award will be presented to The Boogie Woogie Man, Jimmy Valiant.
