Weekend Update: RV show and sale, spring-like temps for Raleigh flea market

  Come on out to the fairgrounds this weekend and check out the “original” tiny houses at the North Carolina Dealers Assocation Spring RV Sale. The show and sale runs Friday through Sunday in the Graham Building, Exposition Center, Dorton Arena and grounds. Promoted by N.C. RV Dealers Association, this event offers the largest selection of new and used RVs under one roof. Hours are Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.;  and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $10 for ages 13 and older and children 12 and under are free. See the website for special…

Weekend Update: Feb. 21-23

It looks like warmer weather in on tap for the Triangle area this weekend, so why not enjoy it at the fairgrounds? Dinosaurs, rollergirls and health enthusiasts will make up the eclectic mix of visitors. As usual, the Raleigh Flea Market will be open Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with hundreds of vendors selling a wide variety of goods and services. Weekend Update: Aug. 23-25

Enjoy a weekend of family-friendly activities at the fairgrounds, complete with a horse show, free inflatables and a Body Mind Spirit Expo; it will be something you won’t want to miss. The Triangle Farms Summer Classic horse show will run this weekend in the Hunt Horse Complex. The show is Friday through Sunday, beginning each day at 8 a.m. The event is an N.C. Hunter Jumper Association C Indoor show, and will feature a majority of competitors from North Carolina. Admission for spectators is free. Weekend Update: Feb. 24-26

If you haven’t been to the Raleigh Flea Market this year, take advantage of the mild temperatures and explore hundreds of vendors at the largest flea market in town. While you’re at the fairgrounds, enjoy the rest of the special events and activities happening this weekend. Weekend Update: August 25-27

Friday through Sunday the Triangle Farms will host a NCHJA “C” Horse Show in the Hunt Horse Complex. The event will feature Hunter/Jumper style competition On Saturday, the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Greater Raleigh will host its annual Children’s Good News Spectacular. The event will be held in the Graham Building and will feature inflatable games and rides, popcorn, snow cones, drinks, an illusion show and several gospel presentations.
