Entertainment all around: Roaming acts at this year’s fair

Part of the excitement of the State Fair is experiencing the unexpected, and this year’s roaming acts promise to add to that excitement. To make your fair experience as amazing as possible, and keep you and your family entertained as you walk around the fairgrounds, we’re bringing back some old favorites and one special new act to our roaming-acts lineup this year. Deep Fried Triangle Tweetup Recap

Thanks to everyone who showed up for the 2nd annual Deep Fried Triangle Tweetup at the N.C. State Fair last night. (If you don’t have four cans on you, you can always pay admission at the gate.) Keep an eye here on the blog, on our Twitter account and on the Triangle Tweetup…

Fair favorites return after brief hiatus

In addition to the returning acts (BMX bikes, racing pigs, poodles, clowns, etc), a few familiar faces will be returning to the State Fair this year after one- or two-year absences. Al the Artist may not have a large presence–a small cartoon car is his only prop–but his absence from last year’s Fair was felt by many who have come to count a drawing by Al as a “must” on their Fair to-do list. Al and his pink car will be back to catch those who are “Wanted: For Having Too Much Fun At the N.C. State Fair.” Al roams…
