Announcing the 2011 Concert Lineup

Dorton Arena has become the iconic symbol of the N.C. State Fair since it was first used for livestock shows during the 1952 fair. Described in its first year as “one of the most unusual buildings ever constructed by the mind of man,” Dorton continues to be a pretty special place and hosts nightly concerts during the Fair. Advance sales at walk-up locations start today

You are all my friends, so I’m gonna let you in on a little secret. Starting today, we are selling tickets at nine retail locations across the region. We’ve got locations in Burlington, Chapel Hill, Clayton, Durham, Raleigh and Wilson. Why is this a secret?
