Tag your Flickr photos as ‘NC State Fair’

The N.C. State Fair is on Flickr, and we recently created a specific “NCStateFair” tag page and “NCStateFair” group for fair visitors to tag their favorite Fair photos. We’ll tag the photos we take during the Fair with “ncstatefair” (one word) and also include them in this group. We invite you to do the same, as we’ll be awarding daily “Best Pic” prizes during the Fair to especially interesting, creative and fun Fair photos.

To find us, click on the link above or go to the “Groups” at the top of the Flickr site and search “nc state fair.” Once you join the group, the easiest way to add a photo is to go to the photo’s page and click the “Send to Group” button between the photo title and the photo.

We already have tons of great photos of the Fair on our Facebook and MySpace pages, and we look forward to the photos we’ll see on Flickr. Check out the slideshow below to see the photos we’ve posted already.

About Cotton Candy

Karlie Justus - blogged for the 2008 / 2009 N.C. State Fairs. This is her bio from 2009: When I'm not blogging for the N.C. State Fair, I go by Karlie Justus--but Cotton Candy suits me just fine. My earliest memories of the Fair are of the times my parents would bring my brother and I up from Asheville, N.C. for a double dose of the Fair and a N.C. State football game. Fast-forward two decades later, and I'm a public information officer for the deep fried celebration whose must-see Fair attractions include the giant pumpkins, decorated cakes and deep fried Oreos.
