One week from today!

Yep, tickets go on sale ONE WEEK from today. To get the best seats in the house, you’ll need to be at your computer bright and early as tickets will go on sale at 8 a.m. Word from the State Fairgrounds is that Toby Mac, Skillet/Leeland and Bobby Flay all are generating a lot of interest. Will we break last year’s record of five sold-out concerts?

All the concert tickets will go on sale at the same time, except the Wednesday night mystery guest, which will go on sale in early September.

Admission and ride vouchers will also go on sale next week online. We’ll start walk up sales at area malls, the fairgrounds, downtown Raleigh and the State Farmers Market on Oct. 2. For more information, go to the tickets page on our Web site.

About Cotton Candy

Karlie Justus - blogged for the 2008 / 2009 N.C. State Fairs. This is her bio from 2009: When I'm not blogging for the N.C. State Fair, I go by Karlie Justus--but Cotton Candy suits me just fine. My earliest memories of the Fair are of the times my parents would bring my brother and I up from Asheville, N.C. for a double dose of the Fair and a N.C. State football game. Fast-forward two decades later, and I'm a public information officer for the deep fried celebration whose must-see Fair attractions include the giant pumpkins, decorated cakes and deep fried Oreos.
