Each fall, the N.C. State Fair offers unparalleled entertainment with thrilling rides and games, thousands of animals, endless family activities, competitions, vendors and creative deep-fried delights. No two days are the same, and fairgoers can make their visit unique to them.
Several ticket package offerings allow fairgoers to customize their experience even further. Maybe you plan to spend most of your time on the midway, or perhaps you’re looking to add beer and wine to your fair day. There’s a package for you. There’s no time like fair time, so make your trip to the fair all you want it to be.
Following is a breakdown of each ticket package, including two that are new for the 2025 fair.
The Bright Lights and Boots Package includes one gate admission and one ticket to the North Carolina High School Rodeo Association Rodeo Event held on Monday, Oct. 20, or Tuesday, Oct. 21. This package, new this year, is $18, saving rodeo-loving fairgoers $2.
The N.C. Stillhouse experience was introduced to Heritage Circle at the 2024 N.C. State Fair. Each day of the fair, North Carolina distilleries will be on the fairgrounds mixing up craft cocktails for fairgoers to enjoy. This year, the all new Sippin’ Spirits Package bundles fair admission with a cocktail pass. This package includes one gate admission ticket and one Stillhouse Cocktail ticket for $23, saving you $2.
If you plan to spend your day on the midway, the Dizzy Pass could be for you. This deal includes one gate admission ticket and one unlimited ride wristband for $39, a $2 savings. Keep in mind, unlimited ride wristbands are good any one day of the fair.
The Kegs & Cork Pass includes one gate admission ticket and one N.C. Public House Beer + Wine ticket for $18. If you’re looking to support North Carolina’s beer and wine industry while you’re at the fair, save $2 by purchasing this bundle in advance.
The State Fair Flyer gives fairgoers a ride across the fairgrounds and over the midway. Save $4 with the State Fair Flyer Package, which bundles two fair admission tickets and two round-trip State Fair Flyer tickets for $34.
Take in one of the best views in North Carolina at the top of the State Fair SkyGazer. The State Fair SkyGazer package includes one gate admission ticket and one State Fair SkyGazer ticket for $14, saving $2.
These special ticket packages are available online only. Discounted advance tickets are available online now through Oct. 16. This year the prices the consumer sees when they access the online purchase website will reflect an all-in price, which is the price with taxes and fees included.
