Daily schedules…check!

Your fairgrounds roadmap to everything Fair-related.

As we get closer and closer to Fair time (just 49 days left!), we here in the Press Office start checking things off our Fair lists. One important piece we collaborate on with our designers and Fair staff is the Daily Schedule. This handy guide is available during the Fair so visitors have a complete schedule of events, a pocket-sized map for their back pockets and all of the Frequently Asked Questions all in one place. The Daily Schedule is also available online.

To top things off, it’s pretty, well, pretty this year. Amanda Meares, who created the 2009 Fair posters and Web site for us, used a similar design and feel for the seven-page guide. When you come out to the Fair, be sure to grab your own Daily Schedule at any of the gates or information centers.

About Cotton Candy

Karlie Justus - blogged for the 2008 / 2009 N.C. State Fairs. This is her bio from 2009: When I'm not blogging for the N.C. State Fair, I go by Karlie Justus--but Cotton Candy suits me just fine. My earliest memories of the Fair are of the times my parents would bring my brother and I up from Asheville, N.C. for a double dose of the Fair and a N.C. State football game. Fast-forward two decades later, and I'm a public information officer for the deep fried celebration whose must-see Fair attractions include the giant pumpkins, decorated cakes and deep fried Oreos.
