Blog roundup: It’s (almost) all about the food!

It’s been a week since the record-breaking 2010 N.C. State Fair came to a close and I’m already having withdrawals. No longer can I just walk outside and get a deep-fried HoHo or pineapple lemonade. I’m already counting down the days until next year. Thankfully, I can relive the Fair through our Flickr page and YouTube videos. Another way to relive it is through others’ experiences. I spent some time last week reading what others wrote about the State Fair on their blogs. Overall, I think almost everything at the Fair was covered, although most people wrote about their food adventures.

If you’re having State Fair withdrawals, here’s a list of blog posts. Just click on the blog name to be taken to the post. I’ve found the good, the bad and the ugly about the Fair. But the blog posts were overwhelmingly positive. If you have a blog that wasn’t listed, please share in the comments!

These have multiple posts about the State Fair:

And here is the huge collection of posts from fairgoers:

About Firecracker

Firecracker (aka Jen Kendrick) Appears as a guest blogger with a special 22-year history with the State Fair. She now works with the N.C. Pork Council, but she still lends a hand in the press office when she can. Thanks, Firecracker!

  1. Wow! That is a heck of a blogroll. Congrats and thanks for making our Fair blogger-friendly.

  2. Excellent round up! I’ll be spinning through the blogs to see what other folks posted. Thanks for putting this together.

  3. Complete with pictures and a “newly vegetarian” list of approved eats 🙂
